Stamp Camp cards

Once a month, my friend Anjie & I go to a Stampin' Up stamp camp event. Our demo, Sherri Power, does a great job of coming up with cards. We get to make two of each card for only $20---and they are not plain & simple cards!

This month we did two cards with special folds, a two-toned elegant sympathy (I made one with Thinking of You) card, one with embossing & die cuts, and one with the "dryer sheet" technique. That one was fun---using the Xyron, a used dryer sheet, & glitter!

It's a good thing we go to camp these days cuz that's about the only time I get to make cards anymore! Seems like I've gotten into so many other things lately that cards have gone by the wayside. I really need to do them again......

We also went to pick up our professional photos from mom's 80th birthday party. We had Images by Melinda--recommended by my friend Marlene. Melinda had her work cut out for her that day with all the families and babies!! But the photos came out so wonderful! Mom even cried when she saw the canvases we ordered. This is my collage.......mom has one different photo---she has one with her & all the grandkids where I have the one with me & mom. These are now hanging in my sitting room & I smile each time I walk by.......  Thank you Melinda!!!
